Halloween

Garrett at Fall Festival the night before.
Bryn, Megan, Caitlyn, Aubrey

Seven kids in my bathroom - that in itself is scarey!

The kids trick or treating at Caitlyn's house- her brother Trevor got to hand out candy too.

Zac

This year was the first year that Alan and I both got to go out with the kids Trick-or-Treating. It was fun. We had Garrett, Aubrey, Megan and her friends Caitlyn and Bryn. Zac decided that he was too old so he and his friends stayed on the porch with costumes on scaring people. They handed out the candy as well. They had a mist machine, strobe light and scary masks. Zac had one injury when he got shoved against a wall scratching his face after he scared someone pretty good. Happy Halloween! Garrett and I went to the school fall festival the night before.

Burning of the B

Football will soon be over. The tradition is the "Burning of the B". Each team in the Bingham District does a skit for the crowd in the Bingham High School Stands. It was fun, but since the new field had been laid we were not able to burn the B. The kids had a great time!

Halloween fun

Alan and I went to a Halloween party and Zac also went to one. I have to say you gotta love a guy who will put on a tutu. Alan is such a good sport. We had a great time. Thanks Jen and Tim!

Football woes

Oh yes, we have fallen. I have to say shame on our competition, East. The first half was about to end and East tried to cheat by put in a smaller ball than is allowed to try to throw farther. They got caught, unfortunatly we have to wait to find out the backfire (possibly forfeit), we should hear tonight. We ended up losing, the boys were so frustrated with the problems and bad calls from the refs that they lost momentum.

HSM3

Caitlyn, Megan, Lizzie, Camry, Kaya, Sammy, Amy, Aubrey

I am so bummed. First, I thought to take a picture of the kids after 8 of them had already left (oh yes, we had 16 with 5 of us adults), then the ones I did get a picture of didn't come out clear on my phone since it was dark. Oh well, it is cute anyway.

Oquirrh Lake Fun

Each year our community has a Halloween party. This year was part two of a story of the haunted lake. One of the ghouls had an interest in Zac and followed him around.

Halloween Band

Zac and Ethan

The Grandparents

The concert band at Elk Ridge did their show for the quarter with Halloween songs. It was a lot of fun, and I am not one bit prejudice.

Pumpkin Picking

This weekend we went pumpkin picking. It was fun. Alan got the camera on a timer and we put it up on a tractor to take a group shot.

For the Lopez familia!

We got quite a surprise when we woke up this morning! A very well done TP job, thank goodness I have small trees! They drove by later to see the job and I saw them. Heehee! Caught on the drive-by. Erendira's mom was there to see but we had already cleaned it up. They were so cute and brought us chocolates later. I said I would post these just for them. My hats are off to you girls, you didn't get caught in the act even though you were right by my window. You guys are so cute!

Football nightmares!

My dad cheering on, holding flags for the boys to run through!

Today what is my worst nightmare came true for a family on our team. He is our main receiver, he got hit really hard right in the leg. He broke his femur. From the description from the ref it was in the shape of a triangle off the side of his leg. Ouch! Hyde was airlifted to Primary Childrens, our thoughts are with them. Our game was really delayed. We still won, way to go Bantams!

Wig Time

Aubrey went to Build A Bear for her birthday in April and we got the cutest red haired wig to match her hair for the bear. Members of our family tried it on for fun the other day, it was very disturbing! Anyone else scared?

Soccer Game

Garrett

Caitlyn, Megan and Aubrey as Goalie

Our neighbors threw together a quick soccer game of kids in the neighborhood. Kids from ages 6 to 13 played. Yes, kids did get hurt, mostly mine. They had a lot of fun!

Aaah Teenagers!

So do you ever want to scream dealing with teenagers? Today we had way too much. Zac called after school yesterday saying his backpack was missing. Apparently he had put it down with his friends to run back in the school to get his jacket, when he came back out it was gone. Not one of his friends will claim to know what happened. They all got on the bus. Zac went on the bus to find out where it was and nobody would tell him. The bus driver seeing all this of course did nothing. He went back off to find it and the bus driver left him even thought she knew there was a problem. The backpack was finally found in a tree. I did not appreciate having to go get him, I am a little unnerved with kids and the bus driver. We later found that one of his books is missing. I had to go buy a new book today to replace it, couldn't find a hardback like they gave him so now the school will be charging me. I am getting too old I guess, things annoy me too easily. I am now over it. Anyone have any advice for keeping patience? I need it, heehee!

Football Oct 4th

What do you get when a boy meets mud? The rain poured during this game. We still won and the boys had a blast. The rest of us froze. What we do for our son! Bingham Bantams Black are on a roll 6 and 0.
